CSU Student Research Competition

For the Student Research Competition logo, I incorporated various geometric shapes and used them abstract the letterforms for CSU. Geometric shapes are figures we see and use everyday.

For the CSU Student Research Competition’s poster, I wanted to continue the abstracted look and feel of the logo. I did so by abstracting various symbols that are representative to California.

I chose to use a muted desert color palette to show California’s hot and dry climate specifically San Diego. For the typeface I chose Josefin Sans which is a clean and compliments the geometric forms.
